Welcome to Radix Renaissance, a new gaming experience built on the quests, characters, art and systems of The Radix Endeavor.
This version brings the experience of The Radix Endeavor, which was retired in 2020, to modern web technologies.
At this time, Radix Renaissance is a single-player game without teacher tools. All data is saved locally on your computer, so there are no logins or accounts. Each player can choose which quest lines to explore.
Character customization and achievements have been added to recognize your accomplishments and track progress across adventures.
Although the interface looks slightly different, the tutorials and materials on our YouTube channel ↗ and original website ↗ are relevant to this version.
If there is sufficient demand, we’ll consider bringing back additional features, or perhaps introducing new ones.
The original game was created with a grant from the Gates Foundation, in partnership with Filament Games ↗.
The quests, systems, characters, dialog, art and music are ported from the original game. Some missing assets have been recreated, and AI was used to port the code from Flash to JavaScript.
For now, see the original set of Radix resources.
