The first annual Connected Learning Summit was held at MIT this summer. This new conference, co-organized by the MIT Scheller Teacher Education Program/The Education Arcade and UC Irvine, combines themes and structures from past conferences including Games Learning + Society, the Sandbox Summit and Digital Media and Learning. The Connected Learning Summit is intended to be a venue for sharing ideas and many stages of development across multiple communities. The conference exceeding the expectations of the organizing committee in both attendance and content.

There is a good recap of the conference in the Citizen Science Salon.

The conference will be held next year at UC Irvine, which will alternate years hosting with MIT.
