Please check out our site (https://sept.mit.edu/apply) to download the application and apply. Decisions will be made by Pi-Day (03.14.23). Applications are due by February 15th, 2023. SEPT 2023 will be held on campus, Sunday, July 9th – Friday, July 14th.
In 2023, we will ask 50 outstanding educators from secondary schools worldwide who teach science, technology, engineering, and/or math (STEM) subjects. We invite our accepted teachers from 2023 to a week long program on campus from schools around the world where they are recognized as innovative, creative, and dedicated leaders in their communities. Would you, or a teacher you know, be a good fit for SEPT? In the past, the teachers who have made the most of their week at MIT are known to:
- Integrate technology in their classrooms – particularly technology that enables students to create; and,
- Demonstrate innovation in their teaching practice, and advancement through past professional development or other extracurricular experiences.
