Sharleen Loh is a Learning Game Designer at The Education Arcade, dedicated to advancing STEM learning and equity through immersive experiences. Her projects include WIT, a collaborative mixed reality simulation game for exploring complex systems, and Gnome Gnolf, an augmented reality puzzle game for learning geometry. Prior to joining MIT, Sharleen directed the design of Trailblazer Heroes, a card game highlighting the stories of AAPI heroes. She holds an M.A. in Educational Games from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Harvard College. Sharleen’s favorite games always seem to involve adorable animals – including Hollow Knight, Ori, and Root. When not gaming, she can be found crafting or practicing flips on aerial silks.
