Jenny Gardony (she/her) is the MIT4America and Math Projects Manager at the STEP Lab. She previously served as STEP’s Program Manager, where she co-taught Introduction to Education and supported undergraduates pursuing teacher licensure in secondary STEM fields. Before returning to MIT, Jenny was Senior Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Breakthrough Greater Boston, overseeing academic programming and teacher development across three campuses. Earlier in her career, she taught middle and high school math for a decade in Cambridge and Boston, where she was deeply committed to helping all students see themselves as capable mathematicians. Jenny earned her B.A. in Psychology from Tufts University and her M.Ed. in Math Education from Cambridge College. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, exploring new crafts, and walking in the woods with her kids and dog.
