Manufacturing project?

To: StarLogo User List
I am an engineer interested in the possibility of illustrating systems
concepts like "emergence" and "+/- feedback loops" and their potential
impact on manufacturing system design and decision-making. I am looking for
others in the StarLogo user community who have similar interests and may be
interested in collaborating on a project to develop a StarLogo simulation
(And write a paper eventually?). Project timeframe is undefined as of yet.
I have some ideas in mind, but have very outdated programming skills and
little time to learn new ones. I am proposing a model to illustrate _basic
concepts_, not one to model a "real" manufacturing process (overkill - too
complex). In particular, I would need help from someone already experienced
with the StarLogo language and willing to put the time into a project. I do
pro bono teaching work (guest lectures - MIT, Purdue, U Washington) and
would also like to use this as tool to supplement some future talks to
engineering and management students.
I am self-employed (10 years - manufacturing consulting + 10 years industry
experience, previously) and I have a very tight schedule, but I would be
interested in having a discussion via e-mail if anyone is interested.
Thanks in advance.
