2011 Introduction to Programming in StarLogo TNG Workshop

Introduction to Programming in StarLogo TNG

Sign Up! Rolling admission until the course is full

In this fun, intensive, hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to program 3D games and science simulation models using StarLogo TNG, an educational software tool with a graphical programming interface.  If you have never programmed before, this workshop will be a great introduction.  For people with prior programming experience, this workshop will provide you with an easy-to-use, powerful programming tool to add to your collection.

We will organize participants by experience level so that you will work with others with similar levels of experience and be able to move through the activities at a pace you're comfortable with.  A team of facilitators will be able to answer any questions and will help to make sure the entire workshop is fun and valuable for all participants.

The workshop is FREE and open-admission, meaning that there is no selection process. However, advanced sign-up is required. The workshop is intended for educators, parents, and researchers, NOT school-age students. Please contact us if you have any questions about who is eligible to attend.

Please bring a laptop with StarLogo TNG already installed on it.  If you do not have a laptop capable of running StarLogo TNG, please contact us; we will have a LIMITED number of loaner laptops available for the workshop.
