An immersive learning environment for secondary math and biology

About This Project

Play the game!
The Radix Endeavor is an online multiplayer game designed to augment math and biology instruction. Students use their knowledge of math and science to solve quests in a virtual Earth-like world.

It is a world in which students can simulate how a particular species might adapt to environmental changes over many generations. By examining virtual animal droppings, students can diagram the connections between plant and animal species in a virtual ecosystem. The Radix Endeavor provides an engaging game atmosphere that reinforces what students learn in the classroom. To support classroom implementation, a full set of teacher resources and companion curriculum materials are available.

You can find a series of tutorial videos as well as the trailer vide below on The Radix Endeavor YouTube Channel

The Radix Endeavor is currently conducting a pilot study examining how middle and high school teachers might use the game to support their instruction of key math and biology concepts.  Teachers enrolling students in the game are automatically enrolled in Research Option A where we will be analyzing game play data to understand how students engage with the content and each other.

If you are a teacher that has been using The Radix Endeavor with your students, please be sure to complete the TEACHER SURVEY and tell us about your experience.
