Lure of the Labyrinth is in online game that uses a a compelling graphic novel storyline to engage middle grades students in mathematical thinking and problem-solving.

Lure of the Labyrinth is a digital game for middle-school pre-algebra students. Intriguing math-based puzzles are woven into an exciting narrative with two main goals: find your lost pet and save the world from monsters! Linked to both Common Core and national (NCTM) standards, the game gives students a chance to think like mathematicians. To date, students have used math and problem-solving skills to save more than 30 million pets!

Lure of the Labyrinth is hosted on Maryland Public Television’s Thinkport site which includes a number of resources for educators to help you get started using the game.  The following represents a small sample of the resources available:
