[starlogo-users] preview 4?

Good question.  Preview 4 has been in development for some time.  As  
we started to make some changes in interface and design we found that  
it was probably worth investing in some more fundamental changes to  
the system.  As a result we have rewritten much of the code in TNG  
between Preview 3 and today.   This includes new navigation in  
spaceland (as seen in that tutorial) as well as an entirely  
redesigned blocks interface, more flexible commands (including lists,  
switch statements, long distance interactions, and others) as well as  
a lot fewer bugs.  All of these changes have taken quite a while, and  
have been substantial enough to have us change the version number of  
the upcoming release from "Preview 4" to "Beta 1".  We think this  
next version will be quite stable and useful, and just a few features  
away from our final release.

We hope to have this Beta 1 release very soon - within weeks.  Stay  
tuned.  We think it is worth the wait.
