Modes of Teaching
Thegoal of the Modes of Teaching activity is to compare both teaching andlearning done in three styles - lecture, demo and laboratory (or handson). There will be two or three different topics (possibly including density, osmosis and areaof polygons) that will be taught in each of the three different modes.One or two students will be responsible for each topic and style. Alllessons will be peer reviewed as well as reviewed by the instructorsbased on criteria that will be discussed during the differentiatedinstructions lessons. The in class teaching will take place November 3, 5, and 10.
