Creating Virtual Worlds with Alice -- The Basics is a series of lesson plans which introduce the basic concepts used in the Alice program developed and provided free by Carnegie Mellon University. Alice is a 3D world creation and animation system that utilizes methods similar to Java programming to script world actions and interactions.

Much of the material here is based on ideas put forth in the book Learning to Program with Alice, by Dann, Cooper, and Pausch; Pearson Prentice Hall; (c) 2006 Pearson Education, Inc.
